Bespoke Training Programmes
Our team of experienced trainers have worked as practitioners and managers within the drug and alcohol field with young people and adults.  Training programmes are put together to meet your requirements.  We consult with stakeholders and service users to produce and deliver high quality training programmes in multi-media format.  Specialisms include young people, Motivational Interviewing, BBVs, Safer Injecting and Harm Reduction.

DUST Training
As part of the team that created the Drug Use Screening Tool (DUST), and wrote the training programmes that are now used in many Counties, we currently provide tailored DUST training programmes on behalf of DAATs.  For more information, click here.

Communications Strategies
Our design team has experience of providing marketing solutions and communications strategies for numerous DAATs and voluntary organisations.  This ranges from design and production of marketing materials such as posters, postcards and websites, to promotional DVDs and radio advertisments.  For examples of our work, click here.

Commissioning & Project Management

If your DAAT has vacant posts for Joint Commissioning Managers, Young People's Leads or other key posts involved in performance monitoring, Tonic can provide skilled and experienced staff to fill these posts on a consultancy basis.  From developing needs assessments, to completing NTA Treatment Plans or submitting the Young People's Substance Misuse Plan, we can make it easy for you.  If you need projects managed successfully, then a consultant will be made available to you to perform this role.

Research

Tonic are highly effective at conducting research in an often difficult and politically sensitive area that drug and alcohol services operate in.  We conduct meaningful stakeholder and service user consultation, undertake project evaluations with useful recommendations, and conduct needs assessments that have practical applications when you are planning for the future.

Group Facilitation

Tonic run team building days, facilitate staff development days and chair groups that need to develop strategic plans.

Policy Writing
Policies developed for drug and alcohol services, from working with young injectors, to transitional arrangements between services.
